Well, Monday came & by lunch time my phone was ringing. It was Holt. The first thing the agent said to me was, "Let me start by saying that we do NOT have your travel approval yet. I just wanted to call & see if ya'll had any questions about travel right now. I do expect TA in this week though." Needless to say, I was a little let down. I called Jimmy & told him. He said, "your going to get an email tomorrow saying it's in. The email is going to come at 12:07 p.m." I laughed & said ok.
Around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon my phone rang again. It was Holt again. He said, "Christie, I'm calling again because THIS time I DO have your TA!" OMG!! I'm not sure what happened next other than whispering praises to God! I was on the phone him & trying to run upstairs to get Jimmy! Jimmy came to top of the stairs & starred at me like I was crazy. I nearly fell down the stairs jumping! He gave us some dates to look at & decide which would be best for us.
After we got off the phone with him, I had to sit down & cry. All this time of preparing & wanting her here with us and the end of this part of the journey is finally in eyesight! It was a little overwhelming! We did some research on estimated flight cost, talked it over with the kids & did a lot of praying for God's guidance! I emailed Holt back with our date choices & now we are waiting to find out when we will be going to get our sweet little AubriAnna! So so excited!
Yesterday was such an uplifting day. Not only did we get our TA, but two sweet friends called saying they had sold several bags of coffee each for us! You guys will never know how much that has meant to us to have that support! And the genuine excitement for us is overwhelming!
Now we wait to find out when we go! Who knows! That may be the email at 12:07 p.m. today that Jimmy was predicting! LOL
