After posting earlier, I checked my emails and found I had a new update from Holt!  I LOVE getting those type emails! We had 3 new pics of AubriAnna! Two of them she was standing while holding on to a little rail! She can take a few steps while holding on, holds her bottle by herself, has 2 teeth, and can say, MAMA & BABA (daddy)!!!  She has the photo book we sent her & looks at our pictures, however, they say she uses it more like a toy! lol My heart is soaring right now!!
Really excited!  We got our Letter from the NVC (National Visa Center) today!  I've already scanned & emailed it to Holt so they can send it on to China to put with the rest of our Hague documents.  Now we wait for dates!

We finished painting her dresser & the tree on her wall yesterday.  I finished painting the crib this morning.  Jimmy & I also went yesterday & got the bedding for her crib and found her some really cute clothes.  Everything is coming together!

I'm trying real hard to not get overly excited, but I have a feeling I'm going to be on pins and needles for the next few weeks! lol  So very excited!

Journey To AubriAnna

We've had several people ask us if we were doing a blog about our journey to bring our sweet little AubriAnna home.  I've been keeping a journal for her, but since it's getting so close to our travel time, I decided to go ahead and start blogging!  Our prayer is that as we travel our journey, someone else might be touched to start their own journey.  Your journey might not be adoption.  Maybe yours is to sponsor someone else so that they can start their own adoption journey.  There are so many children needing good loving homes.  God commands us to look after the widows & orphans.  This is our story.....

AubriAnna Yurou Hutcheson was found at a crossroads when she was approximately 2 days old.  She was born August 10, 2010.  She has third degree cleft lip/palate.  Her lip has been repaired and the palate will be fixed when we get home with her.  She is a beautiful babygirl!  We will post pics as soon as possible after our "Gottcha" day!  We do have pics, but are choosing to wait about posting them.  She lives in an orphanage right now.  In her room their are about 40 0-1 year olds.  She shares a crib with another baby.  I foresee a new bed "buddy" when we get home! LOL

As of today, we are waiting for a letter from NVC (National Visa Center).  As soon as it comes in, I'll scan & email to our agency & they will send it on to China to submit to the US Consulate in Guangzhou.  Then it's waiting for travel dates!  So excited!

Make sure to follow our blog!  It's definately a journey!  There are so many ups & downs in the adoption process.  We trust God to guide & provide for us and HE HAS!
